I saw this being recommended on BookTok and I am SO glad I tried it πŸ‘πŸΌ

It was a very easy read, in that I didn’t have to stumble over difficult words or think too much about who was who. A Bachelor-esque TV show gone very, very wrong! πŸ™Š Once I picked it up, I could hardly put it back down.

Patricia really did want to cuddle, she just had a horrifically bloody way of showing it πŸ˜‚ I also LOVE that Renne discovered her sexuality (say gay y’all!) and let Patricia kill Jeremy πŸ™‚β€β†”οΈ

4 out of 5 stars for me, thank you ✨ What a read πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

The pace is really slow at the beginning, but after a twist becomes very fast at the end. Overall very enjoyable!

A beautiful palate cleanser, fast paced, funny and tense especially near the end. My main guilty pleasure is reality-TV, and the part which focuses on the competition just before the horrors starts is just as much fun!

Samantha Allen made incredible characters who you'll love to hate. All of them felt so distinct. Even with a 5 way split pov, every character has their own voice.

My single issue is actually with Renee's character.  She's supposed to be the main character but we get to spend little time with her. I wish the book was a bit longer so Renee's (very cool) character arc would feel less rushed. This would also ad more padding to the ending. I'll chalk that up to this book being a fiction debut though! I will definitely pick up any future horror novels Samantha Allen writes.

This was a super fun read. The ending was very weird, but I'm into it. I never quite knew where it was going until the end. Fun, easy read!

Delightfully gross, I wish there was more about Patricia and not just at the end, but this book was such a great quick read and I loved the setting as a fellow PNWer

This was an interesting read, because it felt like I was reading a horror film (in a cool way). I wish it was a little longer to explain a few more things, but I believe it's so we can leave it up to our imagination about what actually happened and why.

This was a gripping read. I don’t read a lot of horror or gore but I was thoroughly glued to the page. The characters are all pretty morally grey and unlikeable, and I enjoyed the exploration of the reality TV genre.
