đź“ť This was an original and interesting read. I liked the setting and the magical system. The romance was adorable. The side characters were multi dimensional and the whole book was just a nice cozy read. And I can't wait for Paloma's book!

🌶️ 3/5 There were a couple steamy scenes but also a few instances of skipping over the steamy parts. The steamy bits were pretty detailed.

I had a fabulous time reading this. I adored the plot. It was simple and engaging -- not twist. The main characters, Asiri and Dario, were adorable and I had fun watching them dance around one another before they got together.

I really enjoyed this cozy fantasy, it was super wholesome with a set of very lovable characters. The Peruvian mythology and culture was interesting and the setting was so enchanting. Altogether it gave the feeling of a fairytale. I do wish the writing style was a little less simplistic and more mature to match the content of the book. The random Spanish words thrown in were kind of weird too, I know it was trying to set the scene since they would’ve all been speaking Spanish the whole time, but it didn’t read like how Spanglish is really used. Also, I know the vibe was meant to be cozy, but I would’ve appreciated more depth. Asiri’s father came off as a kind of cartoonish villain and then didn’t end up playing a role in the story. Asiri made a huge life change but never seems to have any serious conversations with anyone to process it. I’m also not a huge fan of the miscommunication trope which was a big part of the conflict. I think with a bit more development and editing this could’ve been a 5 star cozy fantasy, but I still really liked it!

This book was an absolute delight! First of all, thank you Natalia for sending me an arc-copy!

Anyone who loves heartfelt stories, a little adventure, and animals, Asiri and the Amaru is for you! The world and culture of these characters is so rich and colorful! And the characters are utter sweethearts the lot of them; I’m smitten! Asiri was such a refreshing protagonist; she’s sincere and kind! I loved how Peruvian legend and culture was seamlessly intertwined into the very heart of this book! I had so much fun reading this book, cheering on our characters with their pursuits and dreams!
