This book is incredible. I have many thoughts and feelings about this book, but they're difficult to put into words. This is the first philosophy book I've read, and boy howdy it was a good one.

While I didn't agree with everything in the book, that was sort of the point. It gave me lots of food for thought, and pulled my brain in different directions. I was frustrated by some of the science included that wasn't cited at all: the notion that humans only use a small portion of their brain power was disproved almost a decade ago! I think all authors and communicators should be mindful of fact checking things like this.

But really, my critiques of this book pale compared to my love for it. The meditation at the end of the book left me feeling grounded, and loved, and so connected to the area I call home.

I am looking forward to reading this book again, and the insights it will teach me then!
