I really enjoyed the basis of this book. However I had a hard time with the FMC, I felt like she didn’t learn from her mistakes and she had a hard time accepting she was a supe. The MC are definitely interesting and I enjoyed them. Overall I enjoyed the book and I am looking forward to the next one with hopes of seeing lots of growth from the FMC. I also am eager to see more of the Tromara vampires they are definitely intriguing as well as learn more about May. Hopefully see more of Elena and Tyler.

Careful what you wish for...

Foster teen Caprice gets more than she bargained for when receiving a letter from her long lost grandmother. After breaking curfew, Caprice is thrown into the scariest and most dangerous academy around. An excellent and captivating story

This was a fairly interesting read overall. The Culling is horrific, and I'm assuming the book series will work towards overturning it.

Wow

What a great book. The synopsis gave nothing away. I did not see that coming at all. What will happen next for caprice.

This was a free book from Amazon. It went quick and I would of had more questions or concerns at the beginning. So many questions but it has hooked me in.

I liked the premise but...all of the characters seemed flat. Isabelle, a character that should've been a source of strength and wisdom, was the complete opposite. I understand the author needed a set up for why Caprice was at the school but it came off as weak and lame. Who invites companyb into town the ONE night a year shit gets real?  No one, that's who.

I’m writing this review after completing the series.

Overall not horrible. It’s starts REALLY slow but picks up after she learns she’s not human. It’s well written even if the story is a trope we see often. There are a few twists that keep it interesting and slightly unpredictable.

Not a complete waste of time~

I was so lost and didn’t understand anything that was going on. I checked three times if this was the first book because of what has supposedly already happened before I started reading.
