I love Tristan! I think he had great depth to his character. Very much a combination of Anthony and Simon (tv version) for those Bridgerton lovers. Lucie is not my favorite in this group of women, but I loved being able to read more about her and her background. I can't wait to read Hattie's book!

I am very glad Lucy did not compromise at the end but still got to be in love too.

4.75 ⭐️ the only reason it’s not a 5 is I wasn’t expecting it to be such a SLOW burn. I still absolutely loved this story. Lucie is a force to be reckoned with and Tristan is the perfect rogue with a heart of gold.

Maybe more 3.75. Really enjoyed but it took a little while to get into. The first half of the book was enjoyable to read, but a bit too slow.

Listened to this very long (16 hour) book on Audible. I loved the narrator’s voice and accent for every character except the main character, Lucy. The plot was great, quite Downtown Abby-like. The women’s suffrage movement figured prominently, which was great! Lots of fun steamy scenes. Highly recommend if you need a nice long story.

To be completely honest, I don't remember much of this and I only just finished it a few days ago.
It is fair to say I enjoyed the first in this series more than the second.
