The writing is meh, but the story is beautiful and I feel like I’m a little in love with Noah as well.

Lectura de Febrero.
Lo romántico no es lo mío. La historia es muy conmovedora pero me hubiera gustado que fuera más larga. No me sentí muy apegada a los personajes.

Had heard a lot about this book.. But it fell way short of my expectations.. It failed to hold my interest for longer than 5 mins @ any point of time.. Found it quite predictable and couldnt help but skip quite a few pages..!

I think books are usually better then the movies but in this case I have to say the movie was better. I enjoyed the book and am glad I read it so that I could just say I read it. But it isn't a book I need to read again or own. Sparks descriptions of some scene and feeling were really good and others were lacking. But for hte most part he really put me there feeling the rain, sitting on the porch reading poetry and seeing the love of a man for his wife.

For a large portion of the book I genuinely thought I had found a book where I consider the film a better version, but as I continued with the book I warmed to the characters and found new depths that the film couldn't have covered; thus ruining my joy of finally finding a book worse than the film remake.

Recommend it as a light read, something to take on holiday, not quite the interesting plot lines I prefer. Nevertheless I really enjoyed the read.

liked the story even though the infidelity bothered me, it got better toward the end since the beginning part was a bit boring and the writing at times too simple, I appreciate the book and it got me teary eyed at some point but I like the movie more.
