I first heard about this book through a special edition book box that I had purchased, and I knew that it sounded up my alley because I had been told that it was full of drama, all of the emotions, and had some of my favorite tropes in them, including age gap, forbidden, and cheating. I listened to this one on audio so as not to mess up my special edition, and I was hooked from the start. I flew through this book in less than two days and did not want to stop reading it. I absolutely loved Marcel and Gabby; their chemistry was off the charts, and I loved how protective Marcel was of her. The book ended in a way that broke my heart and made me desperate to pick up the sequel (it is kind of a cliffhanger). I'm glad I took a chance on this one because it was so good and made me want to cry!
