The Enemy Above is a totally rad story! This novel follows the story of a young Jewish boy named Anton who farms in the Ukraine. He has to run with his Bubbe because the Nazis are invading. It is filled with suspenseful chapters, good news, and bad news. For example, Anton's grandma (Bubbe) gets killed by the Gestapo, but the officer also gets killed. I liked how karma worked in this book. My favorite character is Bubbe. Specifically, she stands up to the same Gestapo officer that kills her later in the story when the Gestapo discovered the cave where they were hiding. She is brave like Juli from Making Bombs For Hitler. If you liked Number The Stars this is basically a book relative.
