A really lovely collection of myths and fairy tales, easy to read with mostly happy endings. I think it's probably pitched at teenagers but hey, I enjoyed myself.

This book definitely took me by surprise. I picked it up from the used bookstore on a whim just last week and once I started reading it I couldn't stop! I'd never read anything from Welsh mythology before so these stories were all new to me and the way that the author retold them was so witty and fun. There wasn't a single one I didn't enjoy! Highly recommend this if you're looking to expand your fairy-tale/mythology repertoire. Happy Reading :)

This was cute, I didn't realise until after I'd gotten it that it's welsh fairy tales re written for children essentially, but as an adult I still enjoyed it, especially as folklore can be quite dry sometimes so having it written for an audience with a shorter attention span made it quite fun.
