♥︎ Cora Reilly's mafia romance series has always had a special place in my heart, so naturally, I couldn't resist the opportunity to listen to Nevio Falcone and Aurora Scuderi's story. Let me tell you, this story had me on the edge of my seat, gripped by its twists and turns.

♡︎ Nevio Falcone, a man born into the Camorra family in Las Vegas. He’s Unhinged and dangerous it runs in his DNA. If his father, Remo, the Capo, is feared by all, imagine the chaos that Nevio could unleash. But things take a messy turn when Nevio sets his sights on the daughter of his father's enforcer.

♡︎ I never expected Nevio to be this savage, his impulses uncontrollable. It was like watching a disaster waiting to happen, and poor Aurora was caught in the crossfire, enduring his madness. The way these two went round and round in circles, causing havoc for their families, was downright unnerving. There were moments when Nevio was difficult to like, a true anti-hero, yet I couldn't tear myself away from his story. I was glued to my earbuds, eagerly anticipating one of his explosive rampages. He kept me on my toes, that's for sure!

♥︎ The supporting characters and glimpses of the previous generation added an extra layer of excitement to the story. I adored their dynamics and the witty inside jokes that Cora sprinkled throughout, nodding to her previous series. The banter between the Falcone brothers and the Holy Trinity trio had me completely invested.

♥︎ This book was brought to life by the incredible narrators, JF Harding and Angelina Rocca, who were the perfect choice for portraying Nevio and Aurora. Despite the multitude of characters they had to embody, I never felt lost or overwhelmed. Their voices were crystal clear, and their pacing was impeccable. Additionally, Jacob Morgan, Lucy Rivers, and Tor Thom made appearances, lending their talents to narrate a few chapters from the parents' point of view. This cast received nothing but praise from me.

♡︎ If you're in search of a dark and intense mafia romance, look no further. This story delves deep into the world of organized crime, showcasing the most unhinged characters.

Book 5 of the Sins of the Fathers series

Narrators: JF Harding, Angelina Rocca, Jacob Morgan, To Thom, and Lucy Rivers

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (spicy)

I enjoyed the audio. We have a couple of narrators in this one especially due to the large amount of characters. So that was fun to listen to!!! I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to audiobooks but this sounded great to me. Wish we had more of a duet type of listening experience like a consistent and accurate narration for female and male characters...but it's fine, it did not ruin the book for me and that's mostly why I even signed up. I love Cora Reilly's writing style, the woman writes for me personally!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐:
Now onto the book and what goes on...I loved every second of it. Our characters stayed complex, there was (as always with Cora Reilly) a grittiness to our MCs, great plot in my opinion, and fully fleshed out characters. I don't even want to describe NevioAurora 😅 the babes that get it, get it! I'll just say this: Aurora reminds me of Aria and Valentina and I loved those 2. Especially Valentina.
Nevio on the other hand is a mix of Remo and Savio 🤭 That's all I'll say!

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️:
Cora!!!!!! We got spicy in here and I live for it 😝

If you've been seeing a lot about this and have grown skeptical, please just read the book!

By Frenzy I Ruin tells the story of Nevio Falcone and Aurora Scuderi. I have been waiting for years for their book, and I'm so happy that I finally get to read their story. The number of times I reread their crumbs in BFIC is insane. I couldn't get enough of them, and this book just won me over.

First of all, NevioRory really gave us the best tropes. I just love the idea of Aurora having unrequited love for Nevio, and him falling in love with her harder once he finally notices her. I adore the friendship between these two and I can see that Nevio genuinely cares for Aurora. There are times where he is affectionate towards her despite knowing her feelings for him.

After the 'night' that broke their friendship, Aurora finally leaves Vegas to get away from Nevio because he is no longer worth her time. This is when things got heated and Nevio ended up going stalker mode. It's kinda amusing seeing how possessive Nevio can actually be to the point he unalives another man just for hitting on Aurora.

Both Nevio and Aurora are the complete opposite. Just like Nevio said, Aurora is the light to his darkness. He didn't know how to properly love someone which brings him to make multiple unwise decisions. I admit that there are several times that I feel like punching Nevio in the face but there's a part of me that kinda understands why he acted that way.

Also, let's not forget about the Camorra crumbs. I just love them all so much especially MassimoCarlotta. They're my babies and their crumbs got me into chokehold. I can't wait to see more of them in the future books!

Overall, this book got me hooked from the beginning till the end. I ate up the drama that happened in this story. I definitely recommend to anyone who's a fan of mafia to read this book!

if you thought aria walking in on luca fucking another woman was rock bottom, we just found out cora o’reilly managed to dig even deeper and create a basement by sheer power of will. not only is aurora rejected like eleven times a day and then another sixteen times at the same party by nevio, as soon as she starts her seventeenth mortifying plea, he takes her virginity with ONE THRUST. she THROWS UP, and he PASSES OUT. he then dumps his bastard child (#first person of color in cora’s books slay) on her and she has to ruin her life and beg this man over and over and over again to take even just an ounce of responsibility for his own son, and thats all before he fucks her with a knife handle to “redo her first time” while he bleeds all over her like he’s on the second day of his cycle. he leaves to go on some sort of eat pray kill journey for like six months while she is stuck playing nanny mcpathetic until he finally decides hes ready and one measly speech about how he’s a monster but a monster who gives good dick and sorta likes her has her fall back on her knees for him. all this while he has the fucking joker’s smile tattoed on his back.

and you know what? i had the fucking time of my life reading this!

cora, i dont know how you manage to outdo yourself time and time again. some (98% of your haterbase) may wish retirement on you and the nimble overactive fingers of your ghost writers, but i hope you may never fail to make up italian names ending on -io and -imo and deeply hate your female characters with a passion burning so hotly it even puts satan’s asshole after he’s eaten authentic mexican food to shame. i imagine this is what people feel like after they’ve done crack cocaine
