A creatively conceived world. Look forward to a sequel (please!)
I like the premise, and archetypical characters are easy to identify with. Jack James is the sort of character who appears to be typical of the action genre. He's ex-military, he has this bromance going on with his pal who he trusts wholeheartedly and to whom he owes his life, and he has an estranged family whom he cares for.
This creation is thrown into a world of Freudian motifs and symbolism. For me, this is what added another level to the story. I like the world he inhabits, and I'd love to visit that world again to catch up with Jack James.
