i absolutely love a breakup/makeup story so this was super up my alley. the intimacy between the two felt real and intense, and it felt worth it when it was resolved. overall i did feel like the pacing could have been drawn out a little more, as i felt like it lost a bit of steam in the end, but i think it's genre-typical. i did also get the feeling like there were some missing scenes (like being shown the rehearsal of a pivotal TV scene, but only told about the actual shooting of it), but nothing that took me out of the story too much. i really appreciated getting to know supporting characters more, like the cast of the TV show and shane's family. a cute HEA which I like, so altogether a nice read!

Ava Wilder is a master at writing complicated relationships. The vitriol exchanged between our love interests was tough to stomach at times, but boy was the turn that much sweeter when things got better.

I thought the title was a little boring but holy shit, this story was truly a “will they or won’t they” until the very last pages. What a ride!

As a frequent watcher of cheesy television shows, Will They, Won't They brought my little shipper heart joy. The tension between Lilah and Shane for the majority of the book was so good, and Ava Wilder nails the "Lovers to Enemies to Something Else" tropes perfectly (there was only one bed!). The industry parts of the book felt very organic, and all in all it was a fun read. The supporting characters were excellently written and weren't too over or underwhelming. And I loved the ending!
I definitely fell for the fake out at the end,
and loved it even more for that!
