A nice, quiet, and calming book with soft illustrations that make this a great selection for bedtime. The simple words and sentences would be wonderful for youngsters just beginning to read on their own. No narrative and no real characterization here, which allows the reader to easily substitute him/herself into the story but may be too simplistic to hold the attention of some youngsters.
