Interesting concept that seems to involve time travel with beautiful, colorful art. However, I found the plot moved too quickly for me to get really attached to the story and characters. I might read the next volume?

More homophobia than anything gay in this story. Don’t understand why it’s listed as lgbt+. I don’t think a side character mentioning their partner or their gay parents qualifies.

Yeah, I get the hype, and I am here for the hype. 

This is only Volume 1 and I’m already absolutely obsessed with our girls and the style of these comics. I just know that the story is going to be absolutely crazy! 

Warning there’s a bit of very overt homophobia in the beginning but quickly called out!

I really liked the art style and the 1980s setting, but I think this was just too violent for me. I'm not a huge sci-fi reader; I liked the

time travel aspect but would have preferred less of the monster/alien aspect

I heard this was like Stranger Things but with a main group of all girls. It just didn’t work for me. Maybe you have to read them all to understand what’s going on? On top of being confused, it read very clearly like the female characters were written by a man. They felt very unrealistic to what young teen girls are like, even for this being set in the 80s.
