Wow, the amount of grooming, under age relationships that string together the characters in this book in almost unreal. Let's just add in obsession, revenge and murder and you have a pot of chaos and boundaries crossed. There were so many I dropped  my mouth opened when the twists were revealed though I figured it out earlier, because I mean really? It was almost to the point of being uncomfortable, but there was also murder.

I will say that I was kept guessing throughout this book and thats one of the reasons I love mysteries, the act of guessing and the fantastic feeling of being right sometimes on who the killer is or who done the crime. I did guess some wrong at the start of the book, but I slowly managed to figure it out apart 5 chapters from the end, of the book the plot of the book made quite a lot of sense.

One of the things I didn't like was the sex scenes at all. They should be of been a warning label for pedophiles at the beginning of the book so people know what they are going Into with this book
Some of the sex scene we’re a bit uncomfortable to read about especially when the characters are

It's such a well written book and it keeps you wanting to read more and more the book. I will be picking up more of Peter Swansons books as this is the 2nd book I have read by him and really enjoyed. Xxx

My thoughts: Page 28 of 285 - So far I'm not impressed. đŸ„±đŸ˜•
144 - So this is just a suspense and I'm moving on for now. It's very soap opera and icky and I was so bored I looked up spoilers, I also suspected the so called  twists and the summary  seems pretty uneventful. I would quit but I'm nearly halfway done and I want to finish this catalog.
202 - If there was a snooze button I'd hit it. It is interesting the way this is playing out but this is the least exciting of all of the Swanson books I have read.

Okay despite having my thoughts confirmed with spoilers the book just wasn't thrilling. It was not a bad book, but it was just okay by normal standards.  It is no surprise to me that I naturally was not attracted to this book and only read it because of the author.  It was not a boring book but it was yes pretty blah overall. I'm personally not fond of storylines that involve statutory rape or exes of family members so I may have had a cringe glasses on the entire time. This story was pretty forgettable in my opinion although well written. This is the only Swanson book I have given a soild 3 stars.

Recommend to others?: Maybe. It's not my cup of tea but there are duller books out there getting high praise.
