I am still a little unsure of what to think about this very unusual crime story, however, I think that is exactly what I liked, being on the other side of the crime than usually. I can‘t wait to talk about this book with Valerie, who I am buddyreading this with, to hear some of her insights:)

Such a tightly-wrapped package of a mystery/crime novel. It's not a genre I've read much of, but I have to believe that writers would aspire to emulate Cain for his exactitude. The use of the first-person narrator, who believes he knows everything (but, in fact, doesn't) is very effective: we are as in the dark as he is about what's really going on. 4.5 stars. Highly recommended.
