First book I read in a loooooong time. I really liked it, I loved the reconciliation and how everything was overcome with love and friendship. It was super sweet and I loved every bit of it

Cute! I loved that the relationship and their issues seemed realistic. Gabe is such a hard one to crack but Dante was so fun. I enjoyed so much of their love. This was low spice but that was okay, it didn't feel too lacking. I did have a lot of issues with the third person and switching point of views often. I was getting very confused at times about whose pov I was in

Love-interests 🍆🦋🍆
third act break-up ✔️
Ow / om drama - no
⚠️ unwanted outing, homophobia, hurtful grandma, death
✔️ Dante
✔️ their friends
✔️ slow burn
✔️🆗️ the plot - I liked that it wasn't a "successful" hockey story but with its ups and downs
🆗️ Gabe - I'm torn, I wished we could have seen more of the Gabe he turned into after the two years skip :/
🆗️ the spice ? Like there was sooo much potential but only like one or two written scenes... booo ):
Arghh so much potential. I liked this book, especially Dante. And I do like slow burns, but something was missing in this story. Maybe the fact that they were more "apart" in this story than together? Would have loved to read more about these two.
》“You… want to date.” He said it like he was verifying a fact.
Dante decided to treat it like a question.
“What a great idea!” He smiled broadly.
“Now that that’s settled….”《
