Best book in this series.
Would recommend to read it... maybe.
It's still not great but better than the first two.
Writing was okay (loved the POV change at the end).
Had some really funny quotes in it:
- "I am Switzerland. I refuse to be affected by territorial disputes between mythical creatures."
- "Fall down again Bella?", "No Emmet, I punched a werewolf in the face."

Spoiler
Jacob and Bella have some sweet moments, Edward is jealous.
Jacob is kind of a dick when kissing Bella without permission but really Bella? ... Edward over Jacob?
The punching was epic, love to see Bella stand up for herself.
The scene after, when Edward knows and is waiting at Bella's house is the best in the whole Saga.
But again Charlie steps in... he really deserves a break... and a nice vacation... fishing or something
Anyway, Bella isn't allowed to know about the whole vampire thing so the Volturi are hangry (kind of but choose not to do anything).
There's a newborn/newbitten army of vampires that wants Bella dead (she writes casually) and so the wolves and the Cullens team up and shit...
Jacob finds out that Bella and Edward are engaged (oh yeah forgot to mention that)... so he gets mad and Bella kisses him to calm him down (there goes the empowerment) but he likes it and Edward doesn‘t like it and there's anger and jealousy and tents and cuddling (but not for Edward cause he's cold).
Then there's fighting and the Cullens win... bla bla
That's basically it.
Oh and Jacob gets hurt but doesn‘t die, and the Volturi show up (finally cause I think they new about the army) and they don't like that Bella knows but they don't know about the wolves? or do they?
Who knows, doesn‘t matter anyway.
Then the ending...
Bella and Edward send out their wedding invitations, Jacob gets one and gets really upset and we get a POV of Jacob as a wolf (really cool to read and better than Bella's POV).
I think that's it.

Go read this book (mainly for the ending).
It‘s one of the two that's worth reading.

I'm debating whether I should give this book 3 or 2 stars. Here's the deal, this book gave me physical pain. It's not badly written, the things I hated are very real, it was just SO PAINFUL to see.

JACOB IS A MANIPULATIVE SON OF A BITCH and if any of you wanted him to win YOU ARE WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS!!!!

NO. JUST NO.

Was not a super fan of the third book in this series. Being young when I read this, I remember feeling like it was more politics than love story, and I wanted more of the complicated love triangle and woes of the teenage Bella.
