I did not like this one. The story felt disjointed, what with all the jumping around, and the writing just was not great. The characters were shallow and stock, and some descriptions were irritatingly repetitive.

Listened to this on audio. It is a thriller. There were times when I enjoyed the book but the pacing was kind of off. I also couldn't get over the fact that the main character lost her family in a fire along with other people yet she became an investigator. I know this is fiction but it just felt very unrealistic. Was hoping to like it more.

I enjoyed the book. It was suspenseful and kept you engaged but hated the ending. Left with questions.
