Landry has just moved with her mom who she hadn’t lived with in years only to have her be remarried with two stepsons Landry’s age and their best friend, Corbin. They weren’t too welcoming but something about Corbin that drew her in and vice versa. She was the first girl that ever caught Corbin’s attention but he had a loyalty to his best friends. But Landry was a tough cookie and she was also feisty; she wasn’t easily broken down. Things shifted between her and Corbin after so many back and forth and boy did he have his work cut out for him. Eventually they all started getting along especially when they actually took the time to get to know her; they protected her something fierce even their own dad took her in like his own. Corbin also discovered something from his childhood that he had no idea about which dynamics for him in his household especially with his younger brother who he was very attached to. Great start to the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Jacie Lennon is a new author to me and I am so glad I read this. I will definitely be reading more from this author. I loved the storyline in this book. In a community that is saturated with bully romances right now, it is hard to make a story stand out and that is exactly what this one did. It is different from others that I have read, and I have read a ton. I tend to be obsessed with this genre. I loved the characters and I loved the pacing of the story. I was on the edge of my seat the entire read. I am excited to read more from this series and this author. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.

From page one I was reeled into this world and these characters—I’m so torn up I need to say goodbye for now and can’t wait to submerge myself into other books to come in the series.

Their story is the perfect mix-up of angst, drama, secrets, twists and chemistry. Seriously, the chemistry and steam between these two is something to be highly envious of.

The character building was an A-plus and did justice to not only the H and h, but the supporting characters too. I’m completely smitten with each of them and invested in each story that’s to come—a hard hurdle to pull-off for an author in any series and Jacie does it simply and seamlessly in book one.

This has got to be THE best light-bully book I’ve stumbled on. Corbin is so on and off with Landry and I’m a total sucker for the push and pull in the fight against emotions. The best part is that it was all believable—I really struggle with high school books that are far fetched and packed with situations that are hard to believe.

This is a perfect book for anyone looking to dip a toe into the bully book pool. You won’t be getting yourself into more than you can handle and be scared away thinking people who enjoy bully books are certifiably insane. The darkness isn’t TOO heavy to handle and in my opinion it’s free of any super sensitive triggers and topics.

It’s undeniable that I NEED more of the Three Kings in my life so I’ll just be impatiently waiting for them to come back to me.

A satisfying read if you like a bully type romance without it being too bully-ish. Though there is something that one of the secondary characters does to the heroine that is pretty bad, and the heroine seems to bounce back from it more quickly than what would be authentic in that case. Overall, though, it's interesting and I anticipate reading the other two books in the series.

Lennon writes with her heart on the table leaving behind a piece of herself in each character she creates.

I love when an male can stand on his own even when his buddies pressure him to fall in line. Corbin wants Landry from the first time he sees her even if she is the enemy. His best friends are her new step-brothers and they want her gone. Landry has been moved across the country to live with a mom who hasn't seen her in over a year because her dad couldn't be bothered to parent her.

Landry is tough, and doesn't have a problem sticking up for herself against her brothers. She doesn't trust anyone, including her mom, in this new world.

It takes Corbin standing up to his friends for them to see the truth right in front of them. This books ends on a great note. I love that Lennon teaches a lesson in this story. It is important to look beyond the surface to see what is really going on.

King of Nothing is good bullying romance. This is my first time reading Jacie Lennon book and I think King of Nothing was written quite well.

Landry has just moved in with her mother and then learns she has twins stepbrother Brock and Bodhi. Landry was hoping that she could reconnect with her mother but that didn’t work because she immediately was sent to live in Almadale Academy.

Brock Bodhi and their best friend Corbin was consider kings of the school. And they torture Landry because they think she has something to do with her mom doing. But Corbin beings fall for her and she being fall for him in this twisted way. But Corbin had too much to lose because he has to look after little brother Abe. And also after all the drama Landry get the family the she deserves.

So through all the up and down you are carry on in King of Nothing you get HEA. Jacie Lennon brings a lot of emotion to wonderful characters. She gives us drama passion love and hea.

Great Read! I cannot wait for book 2!
Landry. I felt for her. She got thrown into the wolves fully oblivious. She has not a clue what was going on and I felt bad for her. She grew a backbone in the end and that made me happy.
Corbin. Ugh, I wanted to punch him one to many times. Like stop following and start leading. He ends up doing what’s right in the end. Thank God.
Landry & Corbin. I need a drink after these two and that’s all I’ll say.

King of Nothing is the first book in the Boys of Almadale series. The book is told from duel points of view from Landry and Corbin. Landry has lived with her dad most of her life since her parents' divorce. However he travels a lot for work, and her mother decided it would be better if she moved in with her and her new husband.

When Landry gets to her new house, she realizes her new stepfather Chester is a billionaire. She also learns she has two new stepbrothers Brock and Bodhi. Upon arriving the twins and their friend Corbin don't like her. She's not sure why. She learns that she will be living on campus along with the rest of the students who go to Almadale high and that her stepbrothers and their friends are the three most popular students at school and are called the Kings.

Landry is roomed with Trixie who has her own problems with Bodhi. Therefore Trixie and Landry are the social outcasts. Brock and Bodhi decide Corbin should start "falling" for Landry to try to get the information they are looking for. However as the story progresses, Corbin and Landry have feelings for each other. Corbin is hiding his own secrets, and is afraid Landry will ruin his future of what he's trying to do.

I really enjoyed this book, but I feel Corbin wasn't really a bully to Landry. He just followed along with what Brock and Bodhi wanted. Brock was more of the bully then the rest of them. However I am very excited to read Brock and Bodhi's stories in the future. Brock was hiding something in this book, and I can't wait to see what it was. I'm hoping Bodhi and Trixie end up together.

** I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
