I don’t know if it was the translation I read or if the original is the same, but I felt like I was reading a Wattpad fanfic written by a teenager.
Everyone is so immature and childish. Kinn is so plain, his whole personality is jealousy and anger, no depth. And Porsche is so dumb, in the show they are so well-written and developed.
And the sex scenes… Every intimate scene between any of the characters is forced to some degree. PeteVegas play with Pete being a masochist and Vegas’ hate of the main family. And KinnPorsche, once they get together, they maintain the same dynamic from their first time (which was heavily dubcon) with Porsche always pushing Kinn away whenever he shows him any form of affection.
It felt weird how the novel talks about dark matters like rape, but then we don’t see any of the danger and violence from the mafia world they live in. Everyone behaves like high school kids. We’re told that they live such dangerous lives that they need bodyguards, and yet we don’t see any enemy besides the minor family.
All in all, I’m so grateful for whoever saw the potential to make such a masterpiece tv series.

Desde que empecé el libro yo ya tenía en mente darle 1 estrella por lo cara de vrga que son los autores del libro pero por su puesto que unas vrgas de personas iban a escribir una mrd de libro.
Si pudiera le daría el libro un 0.5 de lo malo que es.
No es que el libro no sea acto para personas sensibles... Dios sabe que yo no soy una persona que se deje afectar por lecturas Fuertes, pero es la forma en la que está tratado que los autores ni pudieron romantizar lo irromantizable (ni eso pudieron hacer)... En lo que sí son buenos es en crear los personajes más inmaduros y fastidiosos que yo me he leído en mi vida... Ni siquiera la María Daniela de 13 -15 años que se la pasaba leyendo porquerias de historias podría aguantar a estos personajes.
Personajes inmaduros y sin sentido, con razón ese negocio de la mafia va tan mal con lo ridiculo e inmaduros que son los personajes no me sorprende que siempre esté en peligro.
A mí querido Porsche, te hicieron justicia en la serie, te hicieron más seguro de ti mismo, abierto, amoroso y feliz de lo que tus autores alguna vez pudieron.
A mí querido Kinn, siempre fuiste medio pendejo pero en la serie te dieron una personalidad al menos y no hicieron la ira tu única personalidad.
Vegas... Dios! Es que del cielo a la tierra mi rey, igual de violento pero al menos no un abusador.
Y pudiera seguir con cada uno de los personajes pero creo que mi punto ya ha quedado claro.
Me encuentro triste y frustrada de haber perdido de tiempo de esta manera y a la vez preocupada por el éxito que este libro tiene en otros países.
Definitivamente la serie es un 4/5 pero este libro es un 0/5
