A great addition to an amazing series. Seriously, I adore Sid and this series. It was so much fun to see how they solved the murder when there was no evidence that a murder even took place. There were a few parts that were laugh out loud funny, and I had to set the book down until I could stop laughing.

this series is a lot of fun. it's different from any other cozy series I've read, and Sid isn't just a gimmick. it does not seem wise to bring him to school as a prop - someone would notice it's a real skull and have questions - but you obviously have to suspend some disbelief for this story. I enjoyed the family scenes, the characters from Georgia's work at school, and the mystery.

This is the second entry in the "skeleton" series.

Madison, Georgia's daughter, learned of Sid's existence at the end of the first book. Now, Madison is involved with the drama club at school, and the production of Hamlet gives Sid the perfect opportunity to have a shot at acting. Well, he's actually a prop, but it gives him the chance to hang out in Madison's locker all day, listening to the gossip, and to spend time on stage or behind the stage during rehearsals. It is when Madison accidentally leaves Sid on the prop shelf one night that the trouble begins.

Sid hears a murder, but is unable to see anything or identify the people involved. What makes matters worse is that no body is found, no evidence of a crime is located, and no one is reported missing. Even Georgia begins to have second thoughts about what Sid said he heard.

Sid knows what he heard, and using his laptop computer, he begins to research the situation. As expected, a murder was committed, and Sid and Georgia must work against time to solve it. It doesn't help to know that Madison is at school with a murderer.

This was another easy read in the series. I enjoy the characters and the story. I will read the third entry and probably any others that come along.

Charming cosy mystery, but not as good as the first - too many stops and starts in the investigation, including a belated connection of two clues that probably every reader was screaming for them to make as soon as it appeared on page. I like the continuing innovative use the author is making of Sid's skeletonicity though. It looks very likely I'm in this series for the whole haul.
