Caitlin’s writing and - in case of the audiobook - reading are delightful.

Content warnings not complete. The book mentions many topics in passing. It is direct and factual, but never cruel to the reader. The tone is mostly light and humorous while being appropriate and respectful.toofondofbooks_'s review against another edition

This book answers questions that all of us have probably had about death at some point in our lives. Caitlin Doughty is a mortician and content creator who dedicates her platform to making the world feel more comfortable with death and all that comes with it. I have always struggled with a lot of these concepts so reading this was outside of my comfort zone, but I found it extremely informative, accessible and even funny. The only reason why i didn't give it quite 5 stars is just because I would've liked some chapters to have more information.
