Love the run-up to Christmas, especially reading Christmas books. This book was a great start, even if it is still Christmas. But, that's partly the point about this book, Christmas isn't just about a time, it's about a feeling, it's about loving, sharing and being generous.

Allie is leaving Evergreen, moving to DC to start a new job and be with her boyfriend. Ryan wants his daughter to have a good Christmas. After losing his wife and Zoe losing her mother, Ryan plans on staying as far away from the snow as possible and has planned on a cruise in Florida. But a small detour to Evergreen turns into an extended stay,

This was a lovely book, a truly engaging read. It has been made into a film by Hallmark which I'm going to seek out and watch.

I couldn't make it through. There wasn't enough plot.

It’s a sweet Christmas story with sweet people and a sweet ending. It is what it is and I hoped it would get me in the Christmas mood. I better stick with Die Hard or Home Alone..

Christmas in Evergreen is a novelization of the Hallmark movie of the same name. I saw the movie a few years ago and when I saw there was a book of it, I thought it’d be a perfect little read for the Christmas season. It’s such a cute, sweet story that isn’t a completely over the top romance that some Hallmark movies often are.

The characters of Allie, Ryan, and Zoe are amazing and I loved how easily they got along with each other, like they’ve known each other forever. The town of Evergreen is a perfect little Christmas town with the whole community getting into the season, complete with a magic snow globe that grants Christmas wishes. Naturally, what characters initially thought they wanted at the beginning of the story turns out not to be what their heart truly wanted but they find a much greater happiness at the end.

I absolutely recommend this book and I now fully plan on going to re-watch the movie.

This is a great Christmas read. It has all the happy fillers you need from a Hallmark story. I love Hallmark books because I know they won’t disappoint. This book won’t disappoint.

Who doesn't love a good Christmas romance book?? This is my first of the year and now the stakes are high. I loved the dynamic of the characters and I can just picture the town which is fantastic. Time to find the movie now and see it!
