Psychiatrist Jade Thatcher returns to her hometown after the breakdown of her marriage. She thinks that starting again will help her move on, but something strange is happening at Rowan House. Her patients are talking about a conspiracy and Jade is unsure what to believe, but then one of the nurses is murdered.
At first the book jumps around from one point of view to another, before settling down to mainly be from the point of view of Jade. There's an interesting idea for a book here but the narrative becomes very confusing and convoluted and at times I wasn't sure what was going on. It really needs more editing.
