Lots of good wisdom and new-to-me perspectives in here, and the photography is stunning. The writing style was a bit too long and rambling for my taste.

A solid read for anyone interested in mindfulness and general self-help books. I really enjoyed their approach and the insights about privilege, indigenous history and how colonial ideas have influenced our ideas surrounding "wellness." They unsurprisingly have thoughts on appropriation of things like burning sage and other practices. Non-Native new age folks take note.

I was at the bookstore on release day and they had to dig it out of the back for me because they hadn't yet stocked it on the shelves. I love the teachings Chelsey and Thosh included and hate that it took me so long to finish. Life gets busy and I'm easily distracted. I wish I had read this sooner as it gives guidance on how to work through a busy life and to make time and space for yourself and your loved ones. For Creation and the world we live in.

It has given me a lot to think about and I'll be applying much of it to my life moving forward. I am not Indigenous but I've always had a high respect for the people and culture. I'm so thankful that they presented this to the public.

Now, to the writing. Both Chelsey and Thosh have a beautiful voice. I found everything easy to understand and enjoyed their descriptions. I was recommending this to family and friends long before I finished but I'm even more insistent now.
