I recommend this book to students all the time, and not once has a student ever not loved it!

I am not well. I am so unwell. This is why I never judge people struggling with addiction because oh man

Seemed wildly strange and unlike a teen voice, little wonder to belatedly know it was written by a straight Mormon white woman looking to warn against drug use and being LGBT+, had rated it 2 stars but recently lowed to 1 star because rereading excepts makes me recall the homophobia and it’s quite yuck

Was very good and informative. Creative way to put forwards a story. Just sometimes felt a bit to fast passed, not really able to divulge in certain interesting parts of the story. Was also confused a few times over the diary template. Again a really cool idea for telling the story but left me confused sometimes on why she is writing certain things and when she was able to write about it.

I can remember reading this book in high school and it still haunts me to this day.
