Excellent analysis of how tech has become just like any other industry - focused on making money over all else. Can this guy run for office or something? He’s so clear headed, logical, and most importantly compassionate. He’s got my vote!

Sad to say I was rather underwhelmed by this book. While the author does a great job of laying out the issues with the tech world as it stands today, as well as current and potential externalities, little is offered in the way of a path forward. He's done a good job of detailing how communities and non-governmental, non-corporate actors have used technology to progressive ends, but often leaves the prospectus vague as to how we might do more rather than simply emulate those who have already chosen a different path.

While this isn't a bad book, it is more or less a primer for the uninitiated, or those who have only recently come to view the tech world as potentially pernicious. I was hoping for more.
