What is up with this streak of books just not being for me that I'm in? It's awful!
Anyway, this mess. I thought it would be something totally different. I'm really not trying to yuck any ones yum, but I had to remind myself not to screw up my face because I was grossed out. I thought Grimarr would kidnap Jule, court and seduce her in his own fucked up way, sexual tension building and then there'd be spice. I thought he'd have been better than Jule's first husband. Instead it's from one dickhead to another dickhead. Maybe it'll get better, but I don't think I can get to that point when I don't like any of the characters. I'm also not into this book's brand of submission, and I think it's because there's such a heavy emphasis on public humiliation, and there's like no real "reward" for Jule besides like basic necessities to survive.
Lastly, I need to not see the word seed for like a month in any context.

Love <3

This is for the World of Warcraft girlies who grew up and fell in love with smutty romance books. Brb, re-downloading the game on my old PC.

But seriously, I enjoyed this more than I thought possible. It gave at the nostalgia of old bodice rippers with an orc fantasy twist.

This is a fairly typical Monster Romance. I did get frustrated with the quick resolution of any conflict between the live interests.

Loved the world and story arc. The ending was chefs kiss but the characters were emotionally complicated.

New to me author. Heard a bit about this series from some book pages and thought it was time to check it out.

I'll say this turned out to be a much longer book than I expected. I guess because of the Orc aspect and knowing some of the sexual adventures taking place in this series I naturally assumed these would be quick reads. Boy, was I wrong.
