I've definitely read better murder mysteries, the convenience of the "everybody knows everybody" concept doesn't quite do it for me. The plot twist was unexpected, yes, but it felt slightly forced and frantic. The ending disappointed me to be quite frank, and it took a while for me to be engaged. Nonetheless, there's a sense of creative inspiration which i appreciate.

I would give it a 3 stars. I enjoyed it, but some things were a bit of a reach, and sometimes it got kind of slow. It was also hard to keep track of the many different characters. I am not that picky, but I can imagine it gets a lower rating from other people.
