A very fun way to bring a fraction of the Native American culture (more specifically the lives of Spokane Indians in reservations) closer to (young) people who are unaware of them and their lifestyle.
 
Despite the humorous storytelling, I couldn't help but feel incredibly sad about the fate of many Native Americans. 

SPOILER:

Especially when Arnold beat the team of Native Americans and was hit with the reality that they were doomed to fail from the very start despite the victorious course of the game season. It made my cry.

I appreciated this book, but I’m not the target audience. I just can’t stand teenage boy humor and this book is full of it(which is fine because that’s the target demographic). I did love the discussion about the cycles they face and talk about friendships and race. I think this is a good book for discussion and learning for kids.
