My first Freida McFadden book. I enjoyed this book! It was gripping from the very beginning and I kept thinking about the plot twists and what they could be. Safe to say that although some of the twists were predictable, it did not take away from the enjoyment of the book.

Did I hate every single character? Yes
Did I think their actions were incredibly stupid? Yes
Did I not want to stop listening? Yes

Frieda has done it again and I am back in my thriller era. As always she leads you in one direction and then spins you around. The characters are so well developed to the point I hated them all 😂 only thing stopping it from 5 stars is it drags on in some areas where it didn’t need to and lost the pace a bit for me.

I loved the different perspectives and use of emails to tell the story which fit well with the plot.

Definitely one to read if you’re a Freida fan!

This may be my least favorite Freida book so far, just way too many plot holes & the ending felt rushed

The first 100 pages were slow and boring. I didn't care for the author's writing. The characters were irritating and it was hard for me to read the scenes when a character is bullied. However, the story is actually quite good. I was surprised by the overall ending and the small threads that were tied up. There was a gaping plot hole that left me wondering
how the charges against Natalie were dropped
. I think were a few references to the resolution but not a good enough explanation for me.

Oof. This one was just not it - Sorry Freida. The first 3/4 of the book read like a middle schooler who was trying to hit a word count wrote it. The last 1/4 was mostly typical Freida and had some unexpected turns. I didn’t enjoy either main character and found them both annoying. The ending just seemed odd to me as well.

A fast paced thriller I read in two days. Overall I enjoyed it. It was an easy read and I always appreciate short chapters because they make it easier to binge read lol. Even though Natalie was a bully I still felt bad for her.
Throughout the novel I was starting to question weather Natalie or Dawn was going to end up being an unreliable narrator because their stories weren’t matching up. For a while I started to think Natalie actually was the culprit and was having memory lapse. I wasn’t too keen on the ending to be honest. Like I said I felt bad for Natalie and I thought she would have turned Dawn in but I guess they both have their secrets they want to keep.
