I was hoping it would stay more sci-Fi, but it shifted more towards new age/religious foolishness

I really liked The Game. So much that I purchased Digital Heretic, and I tried to not purchase books (my record was 2 years). Both ended in cliffhangers. -___-
So many questions have been raised and I'm no closer to finding out what happens to Danielle, the Game, the players, Tygon, EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE.
I wasn't particularly fond of the zoo scenes (the ones with Miranda and Sparx, because at the time it seemed detached from the rest of the story and just made me more confused). New characters, strategies, and events are constantly popping up and unfolding. It's hard to keep track of what's been answered.
I wouldn't say this book is bad. It's still entertaining. Pacing is good, but like I said, it's one step forward, two steps back each time.

Answered very little, lack of development. Didn't like the relationship between Trew and Danielle.
So many convenient solutions.

Disappointing. Too many ideas, too many concepts, just much too much all in one book.

I was on the verge of only giving this book four stars just because of all the typos - which were incredibly frustrating. But I just loved this book! Whereas a lot of times, the second and third book in a series deteriorate in quality, this is just a continuation of the story from book one and is still awesome! I am hooked.

The ending cliffhanger (which was expected) was a tad anticlimactic and didn't tie in several of the exciting threads from earlier in the book.
