Shipped was a fun escape at a time that I needed to slip away from the real world for a while. Henley works for Seaquest - an adventure cruise company and has been working hard to get a promotion to be a director. Her boss lets her know that she is on the shortlist - just her and her work enemy, Graeme. They are both being sent on a cruise to the Galápagos Islands and whoever comes back with the best proposal for increasing sales will get the director position.
I really enjoyed taking a mental vacation to 2019 and traveling to a place I’ve never been. I really enjoyed the slow burn, closed door romance between Henley and Graeme as well. There were some parts that felt a little too neatly tied up with a bow for me - but I’m still along for the ride!
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the advance reading copy.

This is the quick and easy romance read that I was looking for. Being set in a location that I really want to visit one day, made it even better. Seeing Henley go for what she wanted in her life and realizing what she needed was so great.

why are the last 100 pages of romance books always so bad
+i love thé cruise idea it was super fun
-henley was SO ANNOYING
-didn’t really see her annoyance with graeme as he seemed really nice
-the end complicated it in like 4 different ways? still confused how it ended how it did

Not that bad in the end, but really not sure why I bothered pushing through this one. My suggestion, find a better beach read.

I finished this book with such a full heart, I felt as though I was seeing a hallmark movie play out as each page passed. I couldn't put this wholesome book down. I wish we could spend more time in this little universe.
