So good. Listen to the audiobook. It's Leslie F*n Jones. You HAVE to get the full effect. Stories, anecdotes, comedy, tons of name dropping and curse words. I couldn't imagine just reading this one.

What a journey! I found out about this audiobook from a bookstagram friend who posted about their thoughts on the book. I knew of Leslie Jones from SNL but not much else, and boy did she take us on a journey in this audiobook!! The audiobook is much longer than the print book, which Jones herself acknowledges in the audiobook. This is because she speaks from the heart while using the book as a guide on which part of her life to discuss next. From her childhood traumas to her days on set of Ghostbusters, Leslie Jones is a fierce comedian and woman who fights for herself. Definitely laughed out loud in the car as I listened to it on my commute to and from work.

I had a great time with this book. The timeline can be confusing but it's great to hear someone down-to-earth talk about their story to fame. In true Leslie Jones's fashion, I don't know if I ever heard "mf'er" as many times as I did in 16 1/2 hours than I have in my entire life. Worth it.

LESLIE F*CKING JONES! The woman you are!

One of the best audiobooks I have ever listened to.
I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I wanted to fight a bitch (I still want to fight those mf-ers who harassed Leslie over Ghostbusters...), and then I laughed some more.

I'll always root for you Leslie and be a fan!
