A lovely continuation of the tale, but I wish there was a bit more backstory given to the events and relationships present at the very start of this volume.
Still quite a delight to read. I hope the next volume isn't as long away as this was from the first, but hey, quality is quality right?

An interesting volume. The time jump confused me for the first couple of pages - I wish that it had been explained a little better. Other than that, I really enjoyed this volume. I'm excited to see where the next one goes.

This second volume feels a lot more whimsical in comparison to the first one. I realised that I need to reread vol. 1, which seemed to be much vaguer on many aspects of the story, and more mysterious. I enjoyed vol. 1 a tad more and was incredibly confused at the time skip. A little bubble with "8 years later..." or something would have helped so much with clarifying it. Sybilla failing at everything she does is becoming a little annoying.

The first volume ended very abruptly, so I'm not too surprised that the story is now getting a wider arc and more characters...that said, I didn't feel like this one had quite the same quirky charm that the first did. I also felt like the first pushed more boundaries with dark/creepy imagery and that this felt pretty tame overall (nothing wrong with that, just not as much flare). Overall still an interesting story and I'm excited to read more whenever it's released!
