Such a sweet story!
This is actually the first in the series that I've read--I picked up the audio version recently, and when I needed a quick read to fill some spare time I decided to give it a try. I'll definitely be backing up and reading some of the earlier ones now...and undoubtedly later ones too :)
Realistic characters, sweet romance, fantastic portrayal and treatment of a special needs child and hockey. What more do you need?
(Okay, so she had me at "hockey" and "romance". Really, the rest was just icing on the cake. ;))
The narrator did an adequate job--she'll probably never make my top ten list, but she did a nice job of changing her voice just enough depending on whether it was Mattias or Paige's POV that it was easy to keep track of, even if I had to stop listening mid-section and come back to it later.
Rating: 4 stars / B+
