I loved Rahul but hated that he was doormat for Jasmine. Boundaries needed to be made a long time ago between those two. Jasmine really did take him for granted.

The narration could have been a bit better if the voice for Jasmine done by Shah was not as repellent to me, and if "Rahul" was pronounced properly.....

Rahul and Jasmine.
Friends to lovers. A plumbing issue forces Jasmine to move in with Rahul and things get messy.
They met in college and slept together but then stayed strictly platonic friends.
The chemistry was good but could’ve been more slow burn. I mean, they slept together first few pages in.
I didn’t really understand how Rahul was under so much pressure from his family after his dad passed… i didn’t see any evidence of such.

I'm a friends to lovers stan because holy hell did this book get so many things right. I loved how Hibbert wrote these characters--desperately in love with each other but ultimately incomplete. It's so nice to see them have the HEA but still focus seriously on themselves and grow along the way.
