Foster mom sucks!!
I'm not a fan of the viper twins the foster mom or the stupid Dr! Azzie is awesome sauce and hopefully the little bomb at the end helps her.... I personally have never played D&D so the references were definitely throwing me off but I kinda want to play if it's that much fun haha also the political stuff I get because of the setup I'm glad it didn't go further than it did though because tbh I read to get away from reality I'm sure others will agree. All in all I'm kinda in love with this series so far and can't wait for the next book

This one seemed to have lots more yelling, more angst, more sadness, more inner conversations and less back and forth dialogue. I found myself jumping over paragraphs of reflection to get to the story and keep it moving.
It shows how Azzie and Mouse had a plan to leave and it was time to use it. Not sure about all the back and forth between Azzie and her guys, but a relationship is building (kissing was had by several) and I am curious about the world outside the base so I will keep reading.

Hmm. All I'm going to say is that for someone who continously says they don't want to be treated like a child, she literally acts like a child. Completely immature and unreasonable on every single argument and disagreement, and I'm over it.
Just because you have your blood disorder doesn't give you license to be a jackass. You tell someone to follow your instructions exactly then get mad once they do it and act all "Woe, is me" and think about how you wished you'd have just died when you got sick, because what's the point? You LITERALLY told them to do EXACTLY as you said and give RADIO SILENCE.Or did you just not understand what that phrase meant when you used it?
Then she plays mental games, arguing and displaying anger when she's not actually angry and expecting people to KNOW that she's not actually angry. So the guys are psychic now? Good to know. I'll make an appointment for my palm reading.

Azzie is everything
I really, really liked this book. The only thing that bugged me was the almost reversal of Addie’s opinions on the guys - it felt strangely quick, but everything else was on par.

Loved it
Such a good story. The plot just thickens as the action picks up. We are still learning about the characters, and what makes them tick. Great development.

Maybe Make Some Preparations
I have a weird obsession with books/films/programmes about humanity being nearly wiped out for one reason (superflu) or another (zombie outbreak) and the remaining humans reforming society. The Stand by Stephen King was my favourite book in high school. I must have read it 20 times and then that film The Day After Tomorrow with Jake Gyllenhaal became an obsession. Divergent, The Hunger Games, The Walking Dead, Doomsday Preppers...so, this series fits perfectly into my menagerie of doom and gloom.
There's not really a way to describe the book without giving away the plot, but in a world ravaged by a nasty virus, there's a deeper struggle than the one for survival and it's about money and power. Oh that soggy old biscuit? Well, yeah. Whomever controls the vaccine holds the power and it's a mess. Azzie and her group of friends are caught in the middle.
This book takes 2020 and spins it into a darker tale with more loss of life and darker politics. It's a warning, but maybe I'm just being dramatic lol. If you like thinking about the end of days (hey, I was raised to prepare for this shit), then I know you'll love this series.
