Really enjoyed, unlike the first one I did not see the major plot twist. Read it very fast and kept my interested stayed up late to finish and excited for the third. Feel like most second books can be boring but not the case really enjoyed!

Like the other book in this series, this had lots of twists and turns, many of which I didn’t anticipate. It was interesting and vicious and terrifyingly possible. The characters are a bit unloveable but complex and intriguing.

This book was very uninteresting compared to the first, the writing was good. The plot made no sense.

This was fun.

Fast-paced with just enough depth to keep me hooked, I flew through this bad boy in a day and honestly liked it better than the first - it was far less predictable, with characters you truly get what they deserve.

Millie has big June vibes to me, with a little soul crushing victim mentality thrown in for good measure.

All in all, enjoyable. A quick read that will definitely pull you out of your slump.

• The sequel to The Housemaid was just as mind blowing as the first one and it’s definitely one of those books that aren’t easily forgettable!

• I often questioned if I’d like it as much as the first one while I was reading it because there were some resemblances and I thought that I had the twist figured out but I didn’t see that ending coming at all!! I don’t remember much tbh because I read this months ago but all I remember is that I yelled “what the actual fuck” at the end and that’s a sign of a good thriller imo

• I didn’t rate it 5⭐️ because the ending seemed a bit far fetched but I’d still highly recommend it if you loved The Housemaid and I’m patiently waiting for the third book!!
