This graphic novel is a truly thrilling romp through Paris during the Nazi occupation. The art is sharp and dark, absolutely perfect for the story! I would say that I would have perhaps liked more exploration of the tensions and relationships between the Nazis and the main detective, as well as between the detective and the French Resistance. Perhaps a bit more of the chase would have been great too, although I know how much extra work goes into making graphic novels even a tiny bit longer! All in all, I enjoyed the portrayal of the atmosphere of Paris during WWII, as well as the art.
Graphic: Antisemitism, Blood, Body horror, Death, Medical content, Murder, and Violence
