Another hit by Catherine Cowles! After reading her recent two series, it was so sweet to go back to see where it all started ✨ I love the cast of characters we're introduced to here and Taylor and Walker really hit me right in the feels. What I appreciated here so much (and generally in most of Catherine's romances!) is how genuinely nice and caring Walker is. Yes, he has his gruff moments but he's really just a guy who it's so easy to fall for (and of course I did). I didn't see the twist coming at all and just when I'd gotten over it there was twist Nr. 2 and I expected that one even loss — wow! Excited to jump into book 2
