9/10 What a powerful read. đź’ś Emotional, hard to read at times, but raw and explores a truth not often talked about. I enjoyed reading this first half of this in chapters and then taking a break but by the halfway point, I found myself engrossed in knowing if justice was served and flew through it. Absolutely one I would recommend.Â
My only complaint is that I wish this was written as a memoir. I know it was “based on real events” and probably was fiction because of confidentiality etc, but I found myself constantly asking did this really happen to her or if this was part of the fiction.Â
Brought up a lot of feelings of how I might feel if I wasn’t believed, didn’t speak up, was so feared for my life etc. Still such an emotional and powerful read that I will not forget. ❤️‍🩹
