Hugely inspiring and emotional read. The author is the strongest person I’ve ever seen and has become a role model.

I know this book is heavily influenced by the author's real life, and knowing that made the book all the more devastating. Sure, it wasn't the most beautifully written, but it had a good message and uplifting ending.

This was such an important read. This book told a real story of a brutalized girl, her strength, resilience & courage coming forward. A hard, emotional but amazing read.

This was such a hard topic to read about and an important story to tell. Trigger Warnings GALORE so look them up before you read. I almost had to DNF this one in the early stages because it was hard to read about the events that happened but I continued to read and I'm glad I did.

I've read interviews with the Author and understand the reasoning behind self-publishing and editing issues. I would not deter anyone from reading this book because of the issues with writing, grammar, etc. I did feel like the timeline would change very quickly from chapter to chapter and I had to figure out where we were in the character's life which was a bit confusing.

I feel like this was a more intentional rather than enjoyable read as the topic was a difficult one, but I loved how the author persevered and is sharing her story.
