Took me so long to get through and the relationship was so toxic 🫠 I love Grey's newer books but getting through her backlist is...an experience. Also the routines she got gold for were all cut 😭

Interesting enough plot and good spicy scenes but I couldn't really buy into his part of the romance for some reason. And it seemed really unhealthy, like that part didn't resolve. The pacing was also kinda strange and the ending was very abrupt.

This was overall a fun read but wasn’t quite what I was hoping for. It didn’t seem to have the usual stakes of a coach-athlete romance. While there was tension in their relationship, neither of them seemed particularly concerned with the fact that he was her coach (and neither did anyone else). I was also hoping for more description of the gymnastic routines.

I did love Erik’s grandfather and enjoyed the part of the book set at the olympics (although, again, I would have loved more description of the routines. I understand, though, that’s really difficult in a book)
