I am very grateful that I picked this book. I grabbed it by luck and was surprised. It is four and half stars for me.
I didn't read the full synopsis of this book . I just thought it was like Shatter me . It has its similarities , a girl in a cell , afraid of her powers and a nice guy but I should stop here. The only thing I can say that it is the better version of shatter me. The writing style is so good . The story is a page turner. I couldn't leave it and I finished it in one day.

The characters here were very vivid. I thought of them as real persons
Jane or chip : The main character , I liked being in her head. She was reasonable most of the time . She was a good person despite all the disasters in her life.
Spoiler I loved her responses to Ward . Every thing she did to punish him in a crazy but caring way as the glitter paint

Ward: I loved him . I knew his intention from the beginning and I liled how his story progressed. I am waiting to see him in the next book.
Kael: He was a captivating character. I can't describe him enough but he is one of the best character for me . His sense of humor was wonderful. I loved every conversation featuring him .
Cami : she was the sweetest person ever. I loved her friendship with Jane .I liked how kind she was.
Enzo: He was a wonderful addition . I loved the sense he added to the story . Actually I can't decide who is the best . These four characters were amazing.
The older cast: Although we hadn't seen a lot from them but it is clear that they are strong characters. I hated some of them
Spoiler Vanik , he was the worst
and I liked some of them . They all are intriguing.

An Aussie teen fantasy journey with lots of twists and intrigue. One of those books you read in an afternoon and then want to seek out the next one!

This wasn't what I expected. It started ok, but then it became a teenage superhero book and I found it hard to buy into. I can't see myself reading the next one.
