Great romantasy. Interesting magic, more about the characters. The narration is interesting. The world is different and the story is action packed. It keeps you wanting more and there is so much diversity in the plot line it's interesting and keeps you guessing. I am absolutely loving my reread of this series in preparation for the last book!

It took me a while to get into this book, but I think that’s because it’s the 2nd in the series and I had forgot how the last book ended so it was like playing catchup. Once I got it I really enjoyed the read, but not I have to wait until the next book comes out 😩.

*This is my honest and voluntary review. Thanks so much to the publisher and Netgalley for this ebook.*

If I liked The Liar's Crown, I fell in love with The Stolen Throne.

The second book in this trilogy follows the rhythm of the first, action at all times, and the fact is that the plot does not stop, when you think the characters have a break in a chapter, something happens that starts them up again. I really love that in books, it makes you want to keep reading all the time.

The story continues, but Meren and Reven don't get a moment's rest. They must find a way to end the threat posed by Eidolon, and after learning about the enemy's plan, they need allies to stop it. It's not enough that they know what Eidolon wants, they need to stay one step ahead.

Meren and Reven are still my favorite characters. I have suffered a lot for both of them, although they have had their moments of happiness, their love story is destined to be difficult from the beginning, and that makes them cherish those little moments even more. In this book, the characters from The Liar's Crown are joined by new characters. Each one with their power or special ability, and their place in the group. But I want to highlight the evolution of Meren, despite continuing to think that Tabra is the true queen of Aryd, she does not hesitate to take her place when necessary to the point that she earns the trust of those around her.

Abigail has surprised me, because in my opinion, The Stolen Throne definitely beats the first book and it was difficult. And that ending has left me stunned. I'm looking forward to 2024 so I can enjoy the last book in this series.

I highly recommend this series full of action, fantasy, romance, loyalty and betrayal. It has fascinated me.

5/5 estrellas

Si The Liar's Crown me había encantado, The Stolen Throne me ha enamorado.

Meren y Reven siguen siendo mis personajes favoritos.

I really enjoyed this 1st book but there has been a gap between listening to that and this for me. Took me a while in to remember what happened and what was going on. Things seemed over detailed for me in parts, but I enjoyed it overall. For me it kinda picked up towards the end, but it did end on a cliffhanger.
