I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Agh what the heck is this author doing to me. Normally when reading a book series I absolutely love the characters in the first book and then struggle to read the books that follow as they never quite compare but the Cerberus Mc is the exact opposite. With each new book I find a new favourite character which is now Shadow and Misty.

I won't say much about the storyline so as not to spoil it for anyone but oh my god get the tissues at the ready for how emotional it is.

Would definitely recommend this book to everyone you don't even need to be a fan of MC stories to read this series. There had better be a book 4 coming soon

The narrative captivated me just as Kincaid's did, illustrating a profound transformation from a disagreeable character to one who embraces change with a newfound perspective. I'm eager to see Butch find a deserving partner in future tales. It was noticeable that Rose and Doc were less present in this installment, and their absence was felt. There was an expectation that Kincaid and Em would have their own dwelling, which added to the intrigue. Despite this, it was satisfying to witness Kincaid's confrontation with Snapper. However, Snapper's continued presence was a disappointment, slightly marring an otherwise engaging story. This motorcycle club series has been a thrilling ride, and I enthusiastically endorse the first three books.

I struggled with this book. I liked Shadow's character in both Kincaid and Kid. He seemed like he had it together. I don't know what Shadow was supposed to be in this book other than somewhat of a jerk.

Shadow was unpleasant through most of the book even while stepping up to the plate and taking care of his responsibilities. At the beginning of the book, I thought Misty was on top of her game. Then she completely fell apart. I never understood why she didn't reach out to Josie.

For the 3rd time we have a woman with nowhere to go, no friends, technically no family. At least Misty had a degree and a bank account. I had higher expectations. She didn't come across as being a person to be completely dominated and intimidated by her parents. I kept expecting her to get in touch with Shadow. It all went on too long.

TBH, I skimmed through some of this book. I thought Misty turned into this kind of weak, whiny person who just couldn't resist Shadow. It's no wonder she, Khloe, and Em felt like kindred spirits. They were pretty much the same person with different back stories.

Then Shadow finally came around. Misty realized their true feelings meshed. From out of the blue, devastating news appeared. Remember people, college educated woman. How did she not realized her actions would come back to bite her?

I only finished this book to see how they were going to get out of the mess she made. I would give this 2.5 stars. I am really interested in Dom's story, but I am afraid it will be more of the same.

So. Good.

Shadow was the epitome of an alphahole who finally understood what was needed to redeem himself. Misty was insecure and confused but found her strength and resolve at the end.
