I just really love a queer space opera, each voice in it is so unique and adds so much to the story, and the ways the plots intercept really make me want to keep reading
Spoiler RIP lito I literally cried when he died :(((

Oh that's ok, just dig into the hole where my heart used to be (heart was taken by the first book). No no go ahead

I'm just going to sue for emotional damages

I loved the ending sequence, but the middle was weak. Too many POVs made some characters boring. Good character development for sure, but the plot was… handling some issues in a way that I didn’t like.

This trilogy is now, without a doubt, my favorite sci-fi books. This second one brought so much character growth, world building, and tension. I cannot wait for the final one!

The first book in this series was an unexpected delight, but this one fell a bit flat for me, and I'm not sure why. I might have just not been in the right mood for it. In the first book, I found myself equally engaged in all the POVs, but here I was primarily interested in Astrid's. I'd still be somewhat interested in reading a third book, but I feel like I'd need to reread this one first because I don't know that I fully understood or would remember everything that happened, and I don't know how likely that is.
