I should never have read this, this "ruined" the trilogy for me , seriuslly aweful!it was too much too soon and too fast, without a good explanation. This could have been a good sequel, a great book! But, no.

Frustrated!

I love the Providence series. I think I've read it three times. So while I usually steer clear of novellas, I had to read this one. It was definitely worth it. I loved revisiting old characters and meeting Eden all grown up and Levi... wow, Levi. The cliffhanger, though!! At least there should be more books?

My heart hurts. I think that is one of the only ways to describe the end of this. It was very good, I love Levi and obviously all the original providence characters, especially Bex. I was shocked that Jared and Nina didn’t have any more children, I personally thought they seemed like they would. Also just a tiny little detail that bothered me. Bex said he was almost 30 but seeing as he was almost 14 when Eden was born and she’s 18 in this book, wouldn’t that make him almost 32 not almost 30? That was just a little bothersome detail that I, a perfectionist, noticed. But other than that, I enjoyed it. The ending was heartbreaking though and I would have preferred a nice happy ending, not going to lie. But I would still recommend this series and this book to anyone.

I pretty much love anything this woman writes. Sins of the Innocent took me a little longer to get into, purely because it'd been so long since reading the Providence series, that I'd forgotten who everyone was, and what their parts were.

I felt like it was only just getting into it when it ended, and I'm seriously hoping there will be a follow up because I need more Levi and Eden! I want to know more of their past, if they have a future (You'll see her again) and what becomes of Morgan?! Also, Grandmother has some explaining to do! I want more about her, and this Allison character too.

So to sum up, I loved it but need more!
